Troma’s War

A commercial airliner crashes on an uncharted island, stranding a diverse group of passengers. They soon realize they are not alone as armed uniformed men from several countries begin combing the beach for survivors.

One passenger surrenders to the attackers, but she is brutally shot, signaling the brutality of the invaders. The act makes it clear that the island is a hostile, terrorist environment.

It becomes evident that the island is a terrorist infiltration camp. The survivors see makeshift facilities and realize they are in a controlled training ground run by a multinational terrorist network.

Parker, a tough Vietnam veteran, kills one attacker and teams with fellow passenger Taylor. They take command and begin guiding the survivors toward a makeshift safe haven on the island. The shift marks the start of organized resistance.

The captors round up survivors and bring them to a hidden training base on the island. There, the captives are forced to watch the neo-Nazi murder of an air steward and a priest. The brutality hardens the survivors and stirs their resolve to fight back.

The survivors assemble improvised weapons and attempt a rough assault on the terrorists' camp to recover their friends. The defenses prove brutal and well-armed, slowing their progress but reinforcing their resolve.

Inside the camp, Sean the bandleader confronts a Nazi and is defeated. The band's guitarist's girlfriend is killed by an obese terrorist wielding an AK-47, underscoring the terrorists' brutality.

An attractive African-American woman is brought to the brains of the operation, where a pair of conjoined Nazi twins head the facility. The personal threat and the twins' authority motivate her to act when the moment comes.

Parker and Taylor lead the remaining survivors in a surprise assault on the terrorists' hideout. Sida is dispatched by a crossbow bolt to the scrotum, removing a key threat and shifting the battle's momentum.

The African-American woman hunts down the conjoined Nazi twins and hacks them apart with a machete. She then kills a terrorist who tries to assault her, stuffing a grenade in his mouth to finish him off.

Realizing the terrorists plan to invade America, the survivors decide to strike the main headquarters at first light. They vow to thwart the invasion and to prevent the spread of carnage and AIDS.

Later that night, Taylor and Lydia share an intimate moment that reveals their emotional bonds amid the fighting. The connection adds a human dimension to the looming battle.

Hardwick, a depressed widower, volunteers to drive a truck loaded with explosives toward a cargo boat carrying terrorists to the United States. He is shot down, derailing the planned strike.

Cooney, a timid, morbidly obese passenger, volunteers to take Hardwick’s place. He fights through the guards and drives the explosives truck toward the boat, crashing it at the last moment. Moments later, it’s revealed he survived by ditching the truck before impact.

With the terrorists defeated and rescue looming, the survivors celebrate with a jubilant cry of America. The film closes on the resilience of ordinary people who refused to give up.
