Fuad Ramses III J.P. Delahoussaye returns to Miami to reopen his grandfather’s defunct catering company, a move that immediately rouses the suspicions of Detective Loomis John McConnell, the officer who was young and involved during Ramses’s notorious murder spree in 1963. The past hangs over the present as Fuad steps back into the city, hoping to straighten a broken family name and prove his worth to a new world of connections.

When local socialite Mrs. Lampley Melissa Morgan asks Fuad to cater her daughter Tiffani Lampley Toni Wynne’s upcoming wedding to Detective Myers Mark McLachlan—Loomis’s partner—Fuad sees a glittering opportunity. A sterling recommendation from Mrs. Lampley could keep him booked for months, restoring a reputation that history has tried to erase. He throws himself into the job with professional energy, trying to balance the demands of a high-society event with the shadow of the past that clings to him like a shadowy omen.

As Fuad works with Tiffani and her mother on the wedding menu, he finds himself drawn into a flirtatious, witty back-and-forth with Tiffani’s maid of honor and best friend, Bambi Deere. There’s a tang of romance in the air, an undercurrent that promises a bright future beyond the kitchen, a chance at redemption through a personal connection that feels almost too good to risk.

Yet the mood shifts dramatically when Fuad stumbles upon his grandfather’s statue of Ishtar, the ancient goddess he discovers tucked away in a forgotten utility closet. The moment is more than a relic unearthed; it’s a summons. A malevolent presence seems to awaken, setting in motion a plan that echoes the old legend of the “Blood Feast”—a grim history Fuad’s family carried for decades. The spirit’s goal is clear: to complete what his grandfather started, and to do so by creating a vessel for Ishtar’s return.

To build that vessel, the spirit requires gruesome ingredients—parts and pieces of young women, gathered from those closest to Fuad’s circle. The plan targets the bridal party, starting with the bridesmaids Misti, Trixie, Brandi, Candi, and Laci, with Bambi intended as the head of Ishtar’s new form. The tension intensifies as Fuad’s hunt becomes personal, pulling him deeper into darkness and away from the life he hoped to lead.

In the days leading up to the wedding, Fuad begins to pick off the bridal party one by one. Laci is found to have fallen victim after a moment of quiet retreat, the assault symbolic of the swift, brutal turn the story takes. Trixie is lured to Fuad’s shop where tragedy unfolds in a single, decisive act. Candi and Misti share a moment of vulnerability during a bridal event, only to be cut down in a swift, brutal confrontation. Brandi becomes a central, harrowing figure in the ritual, and Bambi, already entangled by affection, is forced into a terrifying role as the plans for Ishtar tighten around them all. Tiffany is also seized as the clock ticks toward a horrifying finale.

With the bridal party dwindling and the sense of danger looming, Detectives Myers and Loomis race against time to unravel Fuad’s chilling transformation and save the remaining bridesmaids from a fate tied to an ancient curse. The investigation pushes them to confront a case that blends personal history with mythic dread, forcing them to weigh loyalty, redemption, and the limits of courage as the wedding day approaches and the city itself feels the tremors of an unseen, supernatural threat. In the end, the duo must stop Fuad before the last act of the Blood Feast can be completed, and before more lives are claimed in the name of a long-forgotten vendetta.
