When she escapes and crowds surround her, she seizes the moment to free herself from the limo and run. Cooper’s attempt to escape doesn’t end with him caught by the police, though. He evades initial arrest by blending into the crowd, revealing his narcissistic nature by bragging about his crimes and his ability to find his murder houses.

His wife, Rachel, who had suspected his true identity all along, sets him up by leaving evidence that confirms he’s the serial killer.
