In 1986, friends Archie Long and Harry Doyle are released from prison after spending three decades behind bars for a botched train heist. Both are excited to embrace their newfound freedom and reconnect with their former gang members.

The newspaper reveals that the train they attempted to rob thirty years ago is being retired with its final journey happening in just one week. This ignites a longing for their criminal past and a desire to relive their glory days.
