Ticks

Jarvis Tanner uses steroids to boost plant growth, and run-off mutates the ticks. Tyler Burns is sent to join a project to conquer his fear of the woods, and he meets campers Darrel 'Panic' Lumley and Kelly Mishimoto. A tick kills Jerry, and a tick then emerges from Panic’s corpse to maul Sir. The survivors endure a brutal, claustrophobic confrontation.

Tyler drives the van through the window to escape as the tick attacks Rome. He sets the creature alight, and the survivors drive back toward civilization. An egg falls from underneath the van, hinting at the ongoing threat beyond the journey home.
