In Ponvayal, a village shrouded in ghost stories drives investigators to uncover the truth. The arrival of CID officer Vijaykumar and Anandh reveals deceptive appearances and a criminal network behind the legends. Disguises and staged threats create a tension-filled pursuit that peels back the village's myths to reveal real crimes.

The investigators push through hostility, hunger, and fear as they press on when locals refuse hospitality. Anandh's calm, cunning approach and Prabha's aid show resilience in the face of danger. The villagers and officers unite to challenge the criminal empire, risking their safety for justice.

The gang runs an illegal statue trade from a cave and is led by a powerful boss known as Thalaivi. Dhayal, an undercover disguise, allows Anandh to infiltrate and expose the operation, while a fellow officer supports the plan. The pursuit ends with the arrest of the gang and relief for the village.
