As the sun dips below the horizon in the lively city of Las Vegas, Cedric and his eclectic friends gather for the joyous wedding of Michael and Candace. This diverse entourage showcases a mix of personalities, including Duke, Candace’s son, and her mother Loretta. Zeke and Mya soon join the festivities, with Zeke’s notorious reputation as a ladies’ man sparking endless amusement amongst their circle. At the hotel, this flamboyant lifestyle meets its match when a cocktail-fueled concierge delivers a sharp rebuke.
Meanwhile, Bennett and Tish are on a quest to reignite the flame in their relationship, while Jeremy and Kristen grapple with the desire to start a family. Dominic and Lauren, after some time apart, share a romantic moment as they cruise in a limousine. Cedric, having finally escaped the watchful eye of his wife Gail, arrives at the hotel in a sleek sports car, brimming with newfound freedom.
However, tension brews beneath the surface as Michael’s mother, Loretta, is not convinced that Candace is the right choice for her son. Taking matters into her own hands, she crashes the bachelorette party, much to the chagrin of Lauren, who is the maid of honor. The women attempt to celebrate Candace, only to have Loretta commandeer their festivities.
As each couple navigates their own hurdles, from Lauren’s tempting job offer on the East Coast that could upend her relationship with Dominic, to Kristen’s push for Jeremy to embrace fatherhood, the dynamics start to shift. Mya is eager to marry Zeke; however, his reluctance to fully commit leaves her uncertain about their future.
In a twist of fate, Lauren and Candace devise a scheme to set Loretta up with Candace’s Uncle Eddie, portrayed by Dennis Haysbert. While out for dinner, their matchmaking attempts inadvertently ignite a series of events none of them could foresee. As the men find themselves amidst a reunion with Michael’s old frat brothers, Isaac](/actor/adam-brody) and Terrell, their late-night antics propose a challenge the group couldn’t expect.
As the night unfolds, Tish’s transformation at the hands of her friends leads them to a club adventure, leaving their partners with a difficult choice of transport. In the end, they opt for walking, an unanticipated decision that sets forth a whirlwind of unforeseen consequences, leaving them all changed by dawn.
The plot thickens when Cedric’s indiscretions come to light as his wife Gail uncovers his extravagant gambling on her credit card, leading to an ultimatum. In a desperate bid to reclaim his luck, Cedric makes a high-stakes gamble at the casino, using his so-called “lucky number” 15. With Zeke stepping in to discreetly assist him, Cedric’s precarious situation teeters on the edge as he miraculously dodges disaster with a fortunate turn of events.
In a final attempt to salvage their luck, the group partakes in amateur night at the club, donning quirky costumes to win crucial cash. Chaos erupts when Michael witnesses Candace receiving a lap dance, leading to an explosive confrontation with the dancer that spirals into a riotous brawl involving everyone present. Their night of debauchery culminates in a collective arrest, forcing them into a challenging predicament just hours before the wedding.
As the clock ticks down, the group scurries to find a rescuer, facing obstacles: Loretta’s distraction with Eddie, Gail’s exit, and unanswered calls to Bennett’s mother. Cedric finds himself at the center of the blame as the pandemonium unfolds. In the turmoil, Jeremy connects with his evolving paternal instincts while Kristen hints at a potential pregnancy, deepening their bond. Meanwhile, Zeke finally proposes to Mya when he realizes they’re meant to be.
A search for Michael leads Loretta to an emotional confrontation with Candace, but Michael overhears and asserts his commitment regardless of his mother’s disapproval. Candace insists on the importance of reconciliation, prompting meaningful dialogue among them that brings them closer.
As Cedric plans his departure from Las Vegas, his faithful butler, Declan, assists him in securing another venue. Ultimately, as the dust settles, love triumphs as Candace and Michael say “I do,” celebrating their union surrounded by friends and family against the shimmering backdrop of Sin City.
