The Railrodder begins a long hike along the Canadian frontier, only to stumble upon a one-man, open-top rail maintenance vehicle—an old-fashioned “speeder”—sitting idle on the tracks. He climbs aboard, intending only a brief rest, but a simple misstep shifts the vehicle into gear and sends it thunderous down the line.
