The Stranger

Martin, a drifter, arrives in a small town looking for Ana. Peter, a local teenager, directs him to a cemetery where Ana is buried. Martin begins to reflect on their past as he starts his search.

At the cemetery, Martin mourns Ana's death. A trio of thugs led by Caleb confronts him and threaten to kill him. Peter tries to intervene, but the threat remains and hangs over the scene.

Caleb stabs Martin during the confrontation, wounding him badly. The thugs leave him in a ditch, assuming he will die from the injuries. Peter can only watch as danger passes.

Peter flags down Lieutenant De Luca, who is revealed to be Caleb's father. They confront Caleb about the assault and the cover-up. Caleb insists it was self-defense, but De Luca calls him a liar and orders a cover-up.

After De Luca leaves, Peter discovers Martin alive and brings him to Monica, his mother. Monica reluctantly agrees to help, and they begin to tend to his injuries. The unlikely trio starts to plot their next moves.

Peter convinces Monica to assist Martin, but Martin refuses medical aid, claiming that his blood is contagious. Peter learns from Martin that Ana had killed herself after giving birth. The past starts to haunt the present.

Martin vanishes again, and De Luca returns to bury his body. To everyone's shock, Martin's body is missing, leading De Luca to suspect Peter of involvement. Tension rises as the mystery deepens.

De Luca sends Caleb to locate the missing body, and Caleb tracks down Peter, beating him. Peter insists he does not know where Martin is hiding. The town's fear and suspicion grow stronger.

Martin returns and attacks Caleb's circle, killing several of Caleb's friends. He then sets Caleb on fire, marking a brutal turn in the conflict and heightening the sense of menace.

De Luca interrogates Peter again, and Peter admits moving Martin's body. De Luca begins to believe that Martin could still be alive, triggering a town-wide manhunt in pursuit of the unknown threat. The chase intensifies as authorities search for answers.

While intoxicated, De Luca abducts Peter for more questioning and sets him on fire when Peter insists he knows nothing. Martin intervenes, knocks De Luca unconscious, and rescues Peter, taking him back to Monica's house for safety.

Peter recovers from his injuries and is treated at the hospital. Meanwhile, Monica and Peter attempt to flee the town as the pressure from the escalating conflict continues. The police have captured Martin, creating a tense standoff between sides.
