Chris Pratt is driving with his headlights off on a quiet country highway, excited to show his girlfriend, Kelly, and their friends the beautiful fireflies. Unfortunately, he crashes into a stalled combine on the road, leading to a tragic outcome where Chris and Kelly survive, but the other passengers do not.

Following the devastating accident, Chris suffers severe injuries, including brain damage that affects his short-term memory. He struggles with the complexities of daily life, grappling with emotions and memories that elude him.

In the wake of his harrowing experiences, Chris takes steps to reconcile with his friends, especially Lewis. They decide to embark on a new venture together, opening a restaurant with the help of a bank loan, symbolizing hope and a new beginning.
