Spanky McFarland, an enthusiastic boy, becomes the president of the 'He-Man Womun Haters Club.' He gathers school-aged boys from the neighborhood, establishing a bond over their aversion to girls.

Alfalfa, Spanky's closest ally, is selected to drive their championship-winning go-kart, 'The Blur,' in the Soap Box Derby race. The announcement builds excitement among the club members who are eagerly preparing for the competition.

Just before the announcement of the race, Alfalfa mysteriously goes missing, concerning his friends in the club. The absence is felt strongly as they begin to prepare for the biggest day of the year.

The boys discover Alfalfa spending time with Darla, leading to jealousy and discontent within the club. Spanky and others feel betrayed as they witness their friend nurturing a romance that distracts him from the race.
