The Killer

The professional assassin, played by Michael Fassbender, begins his meticulous stakeout in a Paris hotel room. As he prepares for his mission to eliminate a target, he fills the days with mundane activities, showcasing his dedication and focus.

On the sixth night of waiting, the target finally makes an appearance, accompanied by a dominatrix. In a tragic turn of events, the assassin misses the target and accidentally injures the dominatrix, setting off a chaotic chain reaction.

After the failed assassination, the assassin becomes a fugitive and makes a dramatic escape on an e-scooter. He cleverly evades authorities and disposes of any incriminating evidence before boarding a flight to the United States, using false identities.

Upon his return to the Dominican Republic, the assassin discovers that his sanctuary has been violated. His girlfriend, Magdala, is critically injured, having been attacked by two assassins, which ignites a fire of determination in him to seek revenge.

At the hospital, the assassin learns from Magdala's brother, Marcus, the gruesome details of her assault. This revelation of the attackers' identities intensifies his resolve to hunt them down and make them pay for their crimes.

Determined to find the assassins, the Killer tracks down a taxi driver named Leo, who recalls transporting them. Leo's identification of 'The Brute' and a female accomplice drives the assassin onto a path of vengeance.

In a fit of rage, the Killer breaks his foundational rule and executes Leo to gather information firsthand. This act of violence marks a turning point where he allows his emotions to cloud his judgment.

The assassin disguises himself as a maintenance worker at Hodges' office in New Orleans to extract information about the hitmen. Confronted with his handler's involvement, he resorts to violence to force answers but to no avail.

Dolores, Hodges' secretary, seeks to trade information for her safety. The Killer, devoid of empathy, decides to abandon his moral compass, showcasing a shift towards a more ruthless persona in his quest for vengeance.

The assassin tracks down 'The Brute' and engages in a fierce confrontation fueled by anger and vengeance. This encounter ends dramatically, symbolizing his descent deeper into chaos and violence.

The Killer confronts Henderson 'Clay' Claybourne, uncovering the betrayal rooted in his failed mission in Paris. The tense showdown reveals the manipulations of Hodges, though the assassin spares Claybourne's life.
