The Island of Giant Insects

The story takes place on an uncharted, isolated island with dense jungles, rugged coasts, and hidden caves. This remote location serves as both shelter and danger for the stranded students, with the constant threat of giant insects shaping their daily survival efforts.

The island is home to enormous, deadly insects including butterflies and wasps. These giant insects pose a constant threat to the survivors, forcing students to improvise shelter, find food, and stay constantly vigilant against this unexpected danger.

The movie explores three core themes: Survival, where students adapt skills and improvise under constant threat; Trust & Betrayal, as rival survivors test loyalty and self-serving players threaten the group; and Leadership, as quick decisions are needed to coordinate plans and guide the group toward escape.

Inaho Enoki, a quick-thinking high school student, takes on a leadership role after the plane crash. She uses careful observation and practical planning to keep the group alive, remaining calm under pressure while trying to unite cliques into a cooperative team.

Mutsumi Oribe is an empathetic and encouraging student who helps others feel seen and keeps morale up during long nights. Her knowledge of wilderness creatures like butterflies and wasps becomes crucial to the group's survival against the giant insects. She serves as a key ally to Inaho during both insect assaults and betrayals.

Misuzu Jinno is cunning and self-serving among the survivors, willing to betray others to secure her own survival. Her scheming tests trust within the group as she uses charm and manipulation to influence decisions for personal gain.

Students must constantly improvise shelter, find food, and stay wary of both giant insects and rival survivors. With rescue expected within three days but supplies dwindling, they face the constant threat of deadly insect attacks while learning to adapt skills and share resources.
