A group of troubled teenagers reluctantly accept to aid wolf researcher Ben Harris, Corin Nemec, in order to clean their records from their law-breaking deeds. Graffiti artist "Miami" Steve, Ernie Reyes Jr., snobby daddy's girl Crystal, Elizabeth Berkley, and surly Beri Ele Keats join Ben in his mission into the Idaho wilderness to tally wolves and recover a hidden camera.
Shortly after their trek begins, the foursome spot a mother wolf with two cubs, a moment that underscores the raw beauty and hidden dangers of the remote landscape. That night, Ben tells the group a personal story about a white wolf that saved his life, revealing himself as Benny from the previous film and hinting at a complicated past connected to the wilderness. The group’s dynamics start to push and pull at the edges of trust as they move deeper into the trees.
Two paragliders enter the scene: boaster Mason Jeremy London and introverted Jeff Justin Whalin. When Mason starts to flirt with Beri, Crystal acts out of jealousy and steals his altimeter, an act that sets off a dangerous chain of events. Mason loses control during a flight and crashes hard into the woods, a near-fatal accident that also leaves Ben badly injured as he tries to help him.
Left to face the wilderness on their own, the teens contend with whitewater rapids, prowling predators, and their own internal struggles while racing against time to save Ben and Mason and complete their mission. In a moment of danger and wonder, Beri finally experiences the white wolf herself, who appears and guides her toward safety outside a cave. The rescue comes in the form of a helicopter that lifts Ben and Mason to safety, but the group chooses to linger a little longer to finish Ben’s task and retrieve the last camera, hopeful that their actions might still redeem their records and perhaps redefine their futures.

The four troubled teens, Miami Steve, Crystal, Beri, and another participant, agreed to join Ben Harris because they needed to clear their records from their law-breaking deeds. The plea bargain required them to assist the wolf researcher in the Idaho wilderness, tallying wolves and recovering a hidden camera. This was their chance at redemption and a clean slate.
Ben was injured while trying to help Mason, one of the two paragliding brothers. After Mason lost control during a paragliding flight due to a missing altimeter (which Crystal had stolen out of jealousy), he crashed violently into the woods. Ben attempted to ferry the injured Mason toward civilization for help but was seriously injured in the process, leaving the group stranded.
Earlier, Crystal's jealousy over Mason flirting with Beri led her to steal his altimeter, directly causing the crash.
Crystal stole Mason's altimeter out of jealousy when she saw him flirting with Beri. This act of petty revenge sabotaged their safety equipment and directly caused Mason to lose control during his paragliding flight, leading to the crash that seriously injured both Mason and Ben.
The white wolf appeared to Beri during her search for help after the accident. The wolf guided her out of a cave region and toward safety, acting as a mystical protector in the wilderness. The encounter was presented as both dangerous and wondrous, with the wolf appearing exactly when Beri needed guidance to escape the caves and find rescue.
Ben had earlier revealed that a white wolf had saved his life in a past ordeal, hinting at the wolf's protective nature toward humans in trouble.
Ben revealed to the teens that he is Benny from the previous film, connecting this sequel to the first White Wolves movie. He shared a personal story about a white wolf saving his life during a past ordeal in the wilderness, explaining why he has such a deep connection to the wolves and why the legendary white wolf seems to guide those in danger.
After the helicopter rescued the injured Ben and Mason, the remaining teens chose to stay in the wilderness longer to complete Ben's original mission. They wanted to retrieve the last hidden camera and collect the data needed to count the wolves, hoping their actions would still redeem their records and prove they could take responsibility for something meaningful.
After Ben and Mason were injured, the remaining teens had to navigate dangerous whitewater rapids, avoid prowling predators, and manage their own fear and exhaustion. They had to ration supplies, perform rescue operations, and keep hope alive while the harsh wilderness closed in around them, testing their character and forcing them to confront their past mistakes.
The teens hoped that completing Ben's wolf-counting mission would help clear their records and redefine their futures. By choosing to stay and finish the work after the rescue, they demonstrated personal growth and a willingness to take responsibility. The ending suggests their actions led to redemption, with the hopeful tone reinforcing their positive transformation.
