The Greatest of All Time

In 2008, a gripping saga unfolds in Kenya, as the Special Anti-Terrorism Squad (SATS) takes on a dangerous mission. Comprising of the tenacious M. S. Gandhi, the dedicated Sunil Thiagarajan, the skilled Kalyan Sundaram (played by Prabhu Deva), and the astute Ajay Govindharaj, the team intercepts the nefarious terrorist Omar (Omar Lateef) in a bid to secure stolen uranium. Unexpectedly, they discover that their former chief, Rajiv Menon, who has been charged with treason and is evading the law, is also aboard the same train.

Recognizing this moment as the ultimate opportunity, Gandhi resolves to capture Menon while simultaneously obtaining the uranium. In a thrilling turn of events, the squad retrieves the uranium from Menon but tragically destroys the train in the process, believing that everyone—including Menon—perished in the blaze. Back in Delhi, the team goes underground, posing as employees of the India Tourism Development Corporation to shield their true identities from their families. Gandhi navigates the complexities of home life with his wife, Anuradha "Anu", who is pregnant, and their young son, Jeevan (played by Vijay).

To keep Anu from suspecting his infidelity when he receives a new mission in Bangkok, Gandhi takes his family along. Anu grows increasingly uneasy, complaining that strange noises disrupt their phone conversations. Tension builds as he abruptly hangs up whenever she calls. In a shocking twist, following the completion of his mission, both Gandhi and his family become entangled in chaos, leading to Anu going into labor while their son, Jeevan, mysteriously vanishes. The local authorities later recover a charred body, believed to be Jeevan's, leaving Gandhi deeply heartbroken. Anu gives birth to a baby girl, but grief drives a wedge between her and Gandhi; she blames him for the peril they faced.

Years later, in 2024, the narrative shifts as Gandhi has distanced himself from SATS, now serving as an immigration officer at Chennai International Airport. He and Anu live apart while their daughter, Jeevitha (portrayed by Abhyukta Manikandan), stays with Anu. Out of the blue, Nazeer, his former boss, contacts Gandhi, urging him to come to Moscow to train new officers at the revitalized Indian Embassy. Though initially hesitant, Gandhi agrees. The intrigue escalates as a gang of rioters attacks the embassy, a confrontation that leads to an astonishing revelation as Gandhi encounters a younger version of himself among the attackers.

This twist marks the first encounter with Jeevan, and the following day, their paths intersect again. What initially seems like a perilous confrontation transforms as Jeevan acknowledges Gandhi as his father, albeit claiming to have scarce memories of his past. Together, they fend off the vicious Faisal Gang, after which they return to Chennai, culminating in a heartfelt reunion. However, the complexities further intensify when Sunil's daughter, Srinidhi, becomes entangled in the plot, falling prey to Jeevan’s scheming.

The stakes rise as Nazeer, on the verge of revealing critical information to Gandhi, is assaulted by a masked assailant during an urgent meeting. Despite Gandhi's rapid response, Nazeer is tragically killed, giving rise to a whirlwind of mystery as the identity of the murderer remains unknown. The pieces start to fall into place as Gandhi re-enters SATS, determined to uncover the sinister forces threatening their agency. With Nazeer’s phone linking back to Jeevan and a nefarious plot unfolding, secrets emerge: it turns out Jeevan has been colluding with Menon, who survived the train catastrophe years ago and is now manipulating him for revenge.

Menon’s tragic backstory unfolds as well; losing his family in the explosion left him vengeful, seeking to exact retribution on Gandhi. Meanwhile, the harrowing revelation of Gandhi's role as Jeevan’s biological father adds layers to the drama, with Menon using this deception to embolden Jeevan’s misdirected loyalty.

In a series of tense developments, chaos escalates with Srinidhi's kidnapping, a calculated move orchestrated by Jeevan to draw Gandhi away from his mission. As tensions rise and Kalyan’s betrayal is unveiled, the tragic fate of Srinidhi unfolds at the hands of Kalyan, a shocking betrayal that rouses Gandhi’s fury.

As the climax approaches, Gandhi’s quest for the truth leads him to an abandoned theme park where he confronts the shadows of betrayal and revenge. Just when all seems lost, twists abound—a phone call leading him to essential evidence, and a gripping confrontation where the real dynamics of fatherhood, loyalty, and vengeance play out in a heart-stopping spectacle.

In a shocking culmination, during a grand plot to detonate a bomb at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, alliances are tested, and true loyalties are revealed. It becomes apparent that Gandhi had been feigning capture to protect the audience and expose the menacing plot. A dramatic showdown reveals deeper connections and climaxes atop the stadium roof as the fate of Gandhi, Jeevan, and the entire SATS team hangs by a thread.

In a final twist of fate, it is revealed that the “Jeevan” of the recent events was merely a clone, while the real Jeevan—now a sinister scientist embroiled in cloning experiments—lurks in the shadows, preparing for his next move.
