Monica hosts a television interview featuring the lone survivor of the Miles County Massacre. As the survivor recounts her traumatic experiences, Monica highlights the infamous killer, Art the Clown, who is revealed to have inflicted horrific violence.

While watching Monica's interview, Art the Clown becomes enraged by her questions and starts to destroy the television. His fury sparks a malevolent resolve to commit further violence, and he prepares himself for a night of terror.

After the interview, Monica receives a mysterious call from Tom, but her attention is abruptly diverted when the survivor brutally attacks her. In a shocking twist, the survivor gouges out Monica's eyes and leaves her to die in a pool of blood.

Two young women, Tara and Dawn, stagger home after a night of partying. They decide to grab food to sober up and are abruptly interrupted by a menacing encounter with Art the Clown, who catches Dawn's attention.
