Ta Ra Rum Pum

This tale revolves around a man named Rajveer Singh, portrayed by Saif Ali Khan, and his family’s journey as they navigate the various obstacles life throws at them. It celebrates the indomitable human spirit and its remarkable ability to overcome hardships.

Rajveer is a dedicated pit-crew worker for a racing team, driven by his passion for speed. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is discovered by team manager Harry, played by Jaaved Jaaferi. On the same day, he encounters a music student named Radhika, brought to life by Rani Mukerji, and it’s love at first sight.

His journey leads him to join the struggling race team, Speeding Saddles, where he evolves from Rajveer Singh to RV, a formidable race car driver. As his racing career skyrockets, so does his romance with Radhika, culminating in a joyous marriage. With the arrival of their two spirited children, Priya and Ranveer, Rajveer becomes the nation’s top racer, basking in the delights of fatherhood and success.

Yet, tragedy strikes when a severe racing accident lands RV in the hospital for several months. Upon attempting his comeback, he realizes that the incident has left him mentally shaken, robbing him of his racing prowess. As a result, his life spirals downward; facing a series of misfortunes, RV has to auction off his house and relocate his family to a dilapidated neighborhood reminiscent of the Bronx.

Despite the desperate circumstances, RV and Radhika choose to protect their children from the harsh realities. They ingeniously create a façade of a reality show, allowing their family to navigate the struggles of poverty while pursuing a mysterious grand prize.

As they grapple with their unfamiliar circumstances, the family embodies a spirit of resilience, blending fantasy with cheerfulness to cope with adversity. However, an unexpected event prompts RV to reclaim the life he lost.

The question remains: Can he confront his inner demons on the racetrack one last time? Will the family endure this significant challenge while striving to stay united?
