Strike Commando

Ransom and his Strike Commandos slip into a Vietnamese base to plant explosives. A sentry catches one of the commandos and kills him, triggering the alarm. Colonel Radek, who commands the mission, orders the explosives to detonate as the team retreats. The blast also kills a soldier, and Ransom is blown into a river.

Ransom is found unconscious by a village boy who nurses him back to health, and he quickly learns of Soviet activity in the area. The boy’s village has a history of attacks on a church, underscoring the danger they face. He agrees to help move the villagers to safety and to report his status to his home base, while promising justice for his fallen teammates.

The next day, the group attempts to cross a river but is attacked by a patrol boat and VC forces. Le Due, a retired French soldier living in the village, comes to their aid. Ransom fights back and destroys the boat and the attacking force.

A Soviet patrol kills Le Due, leaving Ransom to discover Le Due’s body and a torn Soviet patch. The surviving group realizes the Soviets are mounting a strong pursuit and begin a planned retreat. Ransom's major persuades him to accept extraction instead of pressing deeper.

Back at the evacuation point, Ransom volunteers to return and take photographs of the base to prove Soviet presence in Vietnam. He risks exposure to capture and uses the images to strengthen evidence of the enemy's footprint.

In Vietnam, Ransom discovers that the village has been slaughtered and uncovers the name of a Soviet soldier, Jakoda. He roughs up a VC to learn where Jakoda is and, in the heat of anger, opens fire on the village with a stolen machine gun.

Ransom is captured by the Soviets and spends months in a cell with a corpse, enduring brutal interrogation. He pretends to break under torture to gain an opportunity for revenge, then uses his cunning to kill the guards. He also takes Jakoda's girlfriend Olga hostage to use as leverage.

Ransom arranges for a helicopter extraction and uses Olga as bait during the escape. At the pickup point, Olga attempts to kill him, but the helicopter intervenes, killing Olga and nearly killing Ransom as it withdraws. He also eliminates a guard during the chaotic exit.

After blowing up an army boat, Ransom reaches the shore where Jakoda challenges him to a final confrontation. In a brutal duel, Ransom defeats Jakoda by propelling him into a waterfall, ending the immediate threat.

Back at the base, Ransom, consumed by rage, fires at Radek's office. Radek is not there, leaving Ransom with a burning sense of unfinished business.

Radek goes AWOL and becomes an importer/exporter in Manila, establishing a new base of operations far from Ransom’s reach. Ransom tracks his movements and makes plans for a final confrontation.

In the Manila building, Ransom plants a two-minute grenade on the ash tray. The alarm sounds as he moves through the halls, and he mows down the guards before detonating a grenade to kill Radek.

Outside, Ransom confronts Jakoda, who still bears the metal teeth from their last fight. In the ensuing battle, Ransom stuffs a grenade into Jakoda's mouth, causing a catastrophic explosion that leaves only Jakoda’s metal teeth behind.
