The film opens with a brutal scene at the Kakkayam police camp where a police officer assaults a prisoner. It foreshadows the corruption and abuse of power that pervades the story.

A retirement ceremony is held for three senior officers: DYSP Abdul Sathar, IG Raghavan Nambiar, and ADGP Thomas Sebastian. The event marks the end of their formal police careers, but it also foreshadows the violence and vendetta that will unfold later.

Shortly after the retirement, Abdul Sathar is murdered on his way back home, sending shockwaves through the force. The murder ignites a sense of unresolved revenge that threads through the narrative.

Sankaranarayanan, the caretaker of Holiday Home, welcomes Rahul and his lover Meera Nambiar as they arrive at the resort in the high ranges of Kerala. The idyllic location becomes a backdrop for the subsequent crime.

The next day Meera Nambiar is found murdered, and SP Siddharth Mahadev is designated as the investigation officer. The case quickly grows murky as those involved offer divergent accounts of what happened. Siddharth begins to uncover contradictions in everyone’s stories.

The story shifts to the Emergency period in India, when press censorship and preventive detention allow police abuses to run rampant. Sankaranarayanan, a local press baron, collaborates with Anthony to expose the atrocities against plantation workers.

In retaliation, Raghavan Nambiar, Abdul Sathar, and Thomas Sebastian brutally torture Sankaranarayanan and assault his wife and daughter, raping and murdering them and falsely implicating him. This brutal act cements the motive for long-simmering revenge.

Sankaranarayanan reveals to Rahul that he is Rahul's father, and urges him to join in taking revenge against the three officers who wronged him. Rahul is torn between vengeance and protecting innocent lives.

The trio—Nambiar, Sathar and Thomas Sebastian—retire from the police force, neutralizing their official power but leaving the path to revenge unresolved. Their retirements mark a shift from institutional justice to raw vendetta.

Meera is held captive by Sankaranarayanan, and Rahul opposes harming her because of her ties to her father’s crimes. She escapes with Rahul, but a fatal misstep leads to her death.

Sankaranarayanan and Rahul murder Nambiar and Sathar in retribution for past abuses. The act intensifies the cycle of vengeance that has defined the plot.

SP Siddharth arrests Sankaranarayanan when he attempts to attack him. ADGP Vincent Cherian orders Siddarth to arrest Rahul and protect Thomas Sebastian, who is his relative. The next day, Siddarth and Aravind foil a gang attack on Thomas Sebastian, and Janaki murders him; it is revealed that Janaki is Sankaranarayanan's wife, who survived the earlier abuses and now lives as a Palmist.
