Thomas Beckett, a former U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper, receives an unexpected visit from CIA officer James Eckles and Colonel Dan McKenna. During this visit, they discuss Beckett's remarkable marksmanship and the pressing need for his unique skills on a dangerous mission against ethnic cleansing in Serbia.

After a brief but poignant discussion about his past trauma from losing an index finger in combat, Beckett agrees to the mission to eliminate Serbian General Mile Valstoria. However, he insists on having a reliable spotter due to the high stakes involved, highlighting his commitment to ensuring a successful operation.

To fulfill his request for a spotter, Beckett partners with Jake Cole, a skilled sniper with a controversial history. Cole’s past, including a death sentence for killing a federal officer, adds tension to the dynamics between the two as they prepare to embark on their dangerous mission in Serbia.

Upon landing in Serbia, Beckett and Cole are greeted by Sophia, a member of the resistance, at a historic basilica. She takes them to her apartment where they start strategizing their approach to eliminate General Valstoria, setting the stage for the operation ahead.

The following morning, Beckett executes the assassination of General Valstoria, marking a pivotal moment in their mission. The act triggers an immediate lockdown in the city, intensifying the urgency for Beckett and Cole to escape the area quickly.

With their original extraction plan foiled due to heightened security, Beckett and Cole must think on their feet. They take a public tram to evade capture, but their cover is compromised when soldiers begin pursuing them, leading to a chaotic escape.

During the chaotic escape from the tram, Cole is tragically captured by enemy forces and taken to a high-security facility reserved for 'special enemies.' Meanwhile, Beckett manages to evade capture, allowing him to regroup and plan a rescue.

That night, Beckett reunites with Sophia, who offers her assistance in planning a daring rescue operation for Cole. Together with Sophia's brothers, they develop a strategy to ambush a military convoy transporting Cole, demonstrating their resolve to save him.

Beckett and the resistance members successfully ambush the military convoy and rescue Cole along with another prisoner, Pavel, a vocal pacifist. Their successful extraction showcases their teamwork and determination amidst the odds stacked against them.

Post-rescue, the group’s victory is short-lived as they encounter an intense ambush near an abandoned factory. The tragic loss of Sophia’s brothers during the ambush forces Beckett to prioritize their safety, ordering Sophia to escape alone as they regroup.

After the ambush, Pavel insists that heading to Komra, a Muslim town, will provide them a chance for safer passage toward the border. The group pushes forward, relying on Pavel’s connections to find safety and assistance while dealing with the increasing danger around them.

As they attempt to cross a river, the group encounters an unexpected army checkpoint, forcing them to change their plans. They abandon their vehicle and continue on foot toward Simand, heightening the tension of their journey as they evade capture.

Upon reaching Simand, the group is met with overwhelming gunfire from hidden attackers, resulting in Pavel sustaining serious injuries. They immediately retaliate, fighting back against their foes, but the firefight only draws them deeper into danger as their situation grows dire.

As sniper fire descends from a local factory, Cole sustains severe injuries, prompting Beckett to take decisive action. He eliminates the sniper, enabling Pavel to evacuate with Cole, but he is forced to face the increasing onslaught of Serb reinforcements looking to capture them.

In their worst hour, Cole makes a brave stand and utters the word 'Freedom!' before succumbing to his injuries, leaving Beckett and Pavel to confront an uncertain future. The loss of Cole serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made amidst their perilous journey in a war-torn land.
