Madhan is a brash street racer living in Chennai with his elder sister Raji. They are orphans who survived with their aunt Dhanalakshmi, who keeps the family together.

Rajasekar, a stern traffic police officer, nabs Madhan on the road for racing. He humiliates him in public by making him wear a girl's dress.

An arranged marriage is proposed between Raji and Rajasekhar, which immediately stirs tension with Madhan. He begins to view Rajasekar and Raji as his enemies.

Raji marries Rajasekhar against Madhan's wishes and becomes pregnant for two months. This turn deepens Madhan's resentment and complicates the family dynamics.

Madhan's bike is stolen, and the police arrest him, beating him as the bike is used for chain snatching. The incident sets off a cycle of grievance between Madhan and the authorities.

Rajasekhar comes to his rescue and offers to shelter Madhan in his home, initiating a tense melodrama between Madhan and Raji. The two households become uneasy as past grudges simmer.

Madhu, a Chennai-based drug dealer, has one of his drug-carrying trucks nabbed by Rajasekhar. This win marks a key step in the police crackdown.

Rajasekhar seeks the help of the Central Vigilance Team to seize Madhu's drugs and arrest him. The alliance between police and vigilance officers intensifies the manhunt against the dealer.

Madhu orders his men to ram the van carrying him, and he escapes from the hospital where he is admitted. The hospital escape escalates the conflict, pushing Madhan and Rajasekhar deeper into danger.

Madhan and Raji mourn the death of their aunt Dhanalakshmi, who had kept the family together. The loss adds weight to the siblings' strained relations.

Their cousin requests to exchange the jewelry that Dhanalakshmi had given for Raji's marriage. The request underscores lingering family tensions and loyalties.

Madhan discovers that Yeshwanth is the thief involved with his rival gang and refuses to surrender due to political influence and lack of evidence. The standoff raises the stakes for Madhan to clear his name.

The thief challenges Madhan to a bet race, promising to surrender if Madhan wins and reclaim his bike. The challenge becomes a pivotal test of Madhan's resolve.

In the race, Yeshwanth injures Madhan, but Rajasekhar helps him win and Madhan gets back his bike. The victory strengthens the fragile bond between Madhan and Rajasekhar.

Madhu's goons kidnap both Rajasekhar and Madhan; in the ensuing fight, Rajasekhar kills two goons and is shot while saving Madhan. Madhan realizes his mistakes about Raji and, in retaliation, eliminates the remaining goons while Madhu is arrested; the film ends with Madhan and Rajasekhar united.
