Siva Manasula Sakthi

Siva and Sakthi meet on a train traveling from Coimbatore to Chennai and quickly strike up a friendship. Siva introduces himself as an army officer, while Sakthi claims to be an air hostess. They part ways in Chennai with Siva promising to meet her again soon.

Back in Chennai, Siva visits the airline office with his mother Kalyani and Vivek. They are greeted by another woman with the same name, exposing Sakthi's deception. Siva learns the truth: Sakthi is not an air hostess and that he misread her identity; in reality, Siva is a courier and Sakthi is a radio jockey.

Realizing they were duped, Siva and Sakthi vow to get revenge on each other. Siva playfully teases Sakthi live on her radio show, getting her in trouble with her father. In retaliation, Sakthi tattles on him to his family and uses him as a driver, fueling their ongoing feud.

Siva defeats a group of goons to save Sakthi's brother Shanmugam and helps organise his marriage. The dangerous moment strengthens their bond, and Sakthi begins to develop genuine feelings for him. This act marks a turning point in their relationship.

Sakthi plans a surprise birthday party for Siva to reveal her true feelings. She discovers that Siva lied about his birth date, which humiliates him in front of his family. Upset by the deception, she leaves him.

Siva learns Sakthi's true feelings and tries to reconcile, but she ignores him. He quarrels with his mother and sister, and even wrecks Vivek's new mobile phones in frustration. Despite his outbursts, his family eventually forgives him.

When Siva visits Sakthi's office drunk, he misbehaves and is confronted by Sakthi's staff. She sends a man to beat him up and have him removed, and Siva disowns Sakthi as a result. The confrontation cements a bitter rift between them.

Sakthi's father arranges a prospective groom, Arun. Siva coincidentally meets Arun and is introduced as Sakthi's close friend, then extols Sakthi's good qualities to Arun without mentioning any negatives.

Realizing Siva's true love, Sakthi leaves Arun and asks Siva to marry her. He is initially angry about the earlier betrayal, but she apologizes and he forgives her, and they plan to marry at a temple the next day. This marks a renewed commitment between them.

Sakthi goes to the temple early the next morning, hopeful to marry Siva. He does not arrive and calls to say he refuses to marry. Later that day, Siva reveals the surprise party he organized for her, and that night they make love.

The morning after the party, Siva plays another prank and Sakthi realises he will never take the relationship seriously. She leaves him, ending their relationship for the moment. The couple's separation creates tension for both families.

Several months later, Siva arrives with his family to formally ask for Sakthi's hand. Sakthi faints and it is revealed she is pregnant with Siva's child. The two families react with playful chaos as they come to terms with the news.

In a final sequence, Siva and Sakthi are married with a son, and Siva proudly proclaims that he finally got the girl. The epilogue confirms a happy domestic life and a growing family.
