After leaving Nova Robotics, Benjamin Jahveri embarks on a new journey by starting the Titanic Toy Corporation. He creatively crafts toy robots using his truck as a makeshift workshop, eager to showcase his craftsmanship to the world.

During his journey around the city, one of Ben’s toy robots inadvertently ends up in the office of Sandy Banatoni, a buyer for Simpsons' toy division. Sandy is highly impressed by the quality of the robot and decides to place a substantial order for 1,000 toy units.

Fred Ritter, a con artist looking to profit, intercepts the proposal intended for Ben. He cunningly facilitates the deal with Sandy while secretly securing funds through illicit means, setting the stage for a deceptive partnership.

While setting up operations in a rundown warehouse, Ben and Fred accidentally discover the hideout of crooks Saunders and Jones. Unbeknownst to them, these criminals are planning to tunnel into a nearby bank vault to steal the priceless Vanderveer Collection.

A violent confrontation breaks out between Ben, Fred, and the criminals. This encounter leads to the destruction of their equipment, causing chaos and fear among their workers, which threatens the fulfillment of Sandy's order.

In a daring move to save the day, Ben's friends Stephanie and Newton deploy Johnny 5, the sentient robot they helped create. Johnny, equipped with artificial intelligence, steps in to defend the warehouse from further attacks from Saunders and Jones.

As the deadline for Sandy's order looms, Johnny 5 takes the significant challenge of mass-producing the toys while navigating a city filled with hostility towards robots. Despite the challenges, he persists in his mission to deliver the requested units.

After realizing Johnny's potential worth, Fred plans to sell him for $11 million, leading to a betrayal that results in Johnny escaping into the chaos of the city. Unfortunately, he is soon caught by the police and taken to a facility of stolen goods.

As the situation escalates, Sandy discovers that Ben and Fred have been locked in a freezer by the criminals. Using melodies Ben had taught her, Sandy cleverly communicates clues to free her friends from the freezing predicament.

After escaping the freezer, Ben, Fred, and Sandy return to their warehouse hideout but are met by the authorities who suspect them of involvement in the bank heist. Fred narrowly escapes, but soon learns of Ben's arrest and Johnny's situation.

Motivated by retribution, Johnny 5 becomes determined to take down Oscar, the mastermind behind the fiasco. Teaming up with Fred, they successfully track Oscar and confront Saunders and Jones, leading to a climactic battle.

In an epic confrontation, Johnny 5 utilizes his intelligence and abilities against the criminals. They eventually defeat Saunders and Jones, but Oscar remains on the run, seeking to evade capture by boat.

As Oscar attempts to escape, Johnny chases him using a crane, swinging Tarzan-style to intercept him. Just as his power levels drop, Ben, Fred, and Sandy arrive just in time to support him.

With Johnny’s energy fading, the team uses a defibrillator, miraculously restoring his functionality just in time for their next adventure. This moment solidifies their bond and trust in each other's capabilities.

With Johnny gaining celebrity status after their thrilling escapades, Ben, Fred, and Sandy rename their corporation to Input Inc. They take the Oath of Allegiance, officially becoming U.S. citizens, with Johnny proudly standing as their mascot.
