Martha Meeks, sister of the late Randy, delivers an important videotape. It contains Randy's ominous warning about the rules of a trilogy that states no character is safe, adding tension to Sidney's situation.

As the threat intensifies, law enforcement takes Sidney into protective custody. This decision underscores the danger she faces as Ghostface continues to be a looming presence in her life.

During a birthday party for Stab 3's director, the atmosphere shifts dramatically when Gale discovers Roman's lifeless body in the basement. Soon after, another Ghostface attack results in several murders among the party attendees.

Ghostface lures Sidney to a mansion, promising the safety of her friends. Upon her arrival, Sidney faces the killer, and the ensuing confrontation leads her to take up arms in a fight for survival.

The climactic battle reveals Roman as Ghostface, who is actually Sidney's half-brother. His resentment towards his mother, Maureen, fuels his murderous intentions, leading to a twisted family confrontation.

In a fierce fight, Sidney turns the tables on Roman, managing to stab him multiple times. Just as it seems he might recover, Dewey intervenes, ending Roman's violent spree once and for all.

Following the chaos, Sidney returns to her home, where Dewey proposes to Gale in a moment of joy amid the darkness. However, a sudden gust of wind and open door foreshadow potential danger that still lurks.
