Satan’s School for Girls

A mysterious pursuer haunts Martha Sayers, who drives to her sister Elizabeth’s lakeside house in Los Angeles. By the time the police arrive, Martha is found hanged and the death is ruled a suicide. Elizabeth refuses to accept the verdict and vows to uncover the truth.

Elizabeth enrolls at the Salem Academy for Women under the assumed name Elizabeth Morgan. She is welcomed by Roberta Lockhart, Debbie Jones, and Jody Keller, and begins to sense a tense atmosphere surrounding the new girl. She resolves to investigate despite warnings.

In class, Debbie has an outburst that unsettles the others. Headmistress Williams grows wary of the 'new girl' and its possible influence. The campus atmosphere thickens with unease.

Lucy Dembrow commits suicide on campus, shocking the student body. Elizabeth ponders whether Lucy’s death is connected to the strange events she’s noticing. The mystery deepens as rumors spread.

Elizabeth becomes intrigued by a painting of Martha in a dungeon-like room. Debbie painted the scene but claims the background was invented. Elizabeth discovers an identical setting in a campus cellar, hinting at a hidden truth.

Elizabeth is startled by a man with a straight razor and flees the area. The fear suggests that someone is watching her on the grounds. She continues the investigation despite the danger.

The next night, Elizabeth returns with Roberta and they explore a hidden room. They discover Debbie’s dead body, revealing that Debbie had tried to leave the campus. This deepens suspicions about the killer's identity.

Elizabeth confronts Professor Delacroix in his office and finds him in a deranged state, clutching a gun. He fears something supernatural pursuing him and bolts out a window. He ends up in a swamp, where he is beaten by several students, including Jody.

Dr. Joseph Clampett reveals to Mrs. Williams that he is behind the murders and orders the evacuation of the school. Elizabeth and Roberta remain unaware of the evacuation plans, continuing their search. The administration’s grip on control begins to crumble.

They discover Delacroix’s body, brutally murdered, confirming the killer’s reach. Elizabeth and Roberta turn to Williams for help, but Williams has already gone insane. The trio loses their only seemingly stable ally as danger closes in.

In the cellar, Clampett leads a Satanic cult while Roberta reveals herself as his loyal servant. Elizabeth and Roberta confront the cult and attempt to dismantle the threat. The campus edges toward chaos as the true mastermind reveals his power.

Elizabeth escapes by setting the school on fire and drags Williams with her to safety. The other girls stay behind as the building erupts in flames. The escape feels like a narrow victory against an overwhelming evil.

Clampett survives the blaze and is shown outdoors, then mysteriously disappears, leaving only a patch of charred grass where he stood. The film ends with the sense that the horror may persist beyond the flames. Elizabeth's escape is triumphant but the threat remains unresolved.
