In the volatile summer of the mid‑1980s, the shadowed borderlands between southern France and Spain become a cauldron of hidden warfare. A clandestine Spanish paramilitary force, known only as GAL, moves silently through the night, tracking members of the Basque separatist organization ETA who have slipped across the frontier in search of refuge.
