Wallenberg conceives a covert operation to recruit a select group of female informants who will be placed as prostitutes in a high-class brothel. The aim is to gather intelligence on key Nazi officials and foreign dignitaries who visit the establishment. The plan is set on the eve of World War II.

The selected SS auxiliaries are subjected to group testing with SS men to assess their suitability for undercover work. The tests probe loyalty, nerve, and the ability to blend into elite circles. The operation begins to take shape around the brothel itself.

The brothel's regular girls are purged to make way for the new operation, and Kitty, the owner and Madam, is forced to cooperate. She trains the newcomers and adapts to the surveillance demands that accompany the mission. This shift marks the transformation of the venue into a covert intelligence hub.

Wallenberg's team wires the building with listening devices and surveillance gear to monitor clients. The new girls begin spying on visitors and collecting sensitive information. The operation moves from planning to active intelligence gathering.

The operation's costs begin to mount as the women suffer physical and moral strain. One informant becomes pregnant and, unwilling to abort, is removed for medical experimentation. Another falls ill with an epileptic fit and is taken away by Wallenberg's men.

A third informant hangs herself rather than continue the dangerous work. The losses underscore the operation's brutal toll on the women. The atmosphere inside the brothel grows increasingly perilous.

Margherita, Wallenberg's favorite, falls in love with a client, Luftwaffe pilot Hans Reiter. Their relationship complicates the espionage dynamic as personal feelings intersect with duty. Reiter reveals his disillusionment and hints at a plan to defect.

Reiter confides to Margherita that he plans to defect from the Nazi regime. Margherita submits a report claiming he is a devout Nazi, hoping to warn the authorities. The confession is captured on a recording, sealing the risk he faces.

Another client tells Margherita that he has been arrested and executed, and that he spat on the corpse. She shoots him in the shower and Kitty arranges the scene to look like suicide. The act deepens the moral weight of the operation for everyone involved.

Margherita takes an unauthorized break to visit her parents, who suspect her work while Kitty fears exposure. Kitty presses her to return, warning that her absence could trigger suspicion. Margherita confronts Kitty about her involvement but comes to understand that Kitty herself was unaware of the full scope of the operation.

Near the fall of Paris in June 1940, Kitty and Margherita discover the bugging devices and realize the bathrooms were not wired. With this new information, they enlist Dino, Kitty's Italian friend, to help them obtain their own recording device. The strike marks a turning point as they reclaim some control over their fate.

With Dino's help, they secure a new recording device and establish a discreet setup to capture conversations. The breakthrough gives them a powerful tool to expose Wallenberg. The stakes escalate as they gather critical evidence.

Margherita traps Wallenberg by recording him confessing that his wife's father was Jewish, that he doesn't truly believe in National Socialism, and that he holds dirt on top Nazi figures. The confession exposes a dangerous personal vulnerability and political hypocrisy. The recording becomes the linchpin of their leverage.

Margherita delivers the recording to Wallenberg's SS colleagues; he is apprehended and shot. Kitty and Margherita celebrate the perceived victory as the war's bombing begins to intensify over Berlin. The operation reaches its dramatic turning point as internal surveillance collapses in the face of exposed truth.

The film closes with Kitty and Margherita celebrating as the first bombs begin to fall on Berlin. The moment marries triumph with horror, underscoring the chaos of war closing in on the Nazi infrastructure. Their personal fates are left entwined with the broader collapse of the regime.
