Red Hill

Shane Cooper, played by Ryan Kwanten, arrives in the quaint town of Red Hill with his expectant wife. Seeking a fresh start in a new community, Shane hopes to build a better life for his growing family as he begins his new job as a police officer.

On his first day on the job, Shane meets Old Bill, the head of the local police force, who treats him with disdain and coldness. Bill's negative attitude stems from Shane's past trauma involving his hesitation to shoot in a dangerous situation, which resulted in Shane being injured.

The town receives alarming news that Jimmy Conway, a notorious murderer, has escaped from prison and is heading back to Red Hill. Old Bill, harboring a personal vendetta from his previous arrest of Jimmy, ignites fear among the townsfolk and the local police.
