Reclaim

Shannon, who cannot have children after a car accident, and her husband Steven decide to adopt Nina through the International Rescue Adoption, a Puerto Rico based organization. They complete the process and pay the $60,000 fee. With the paperwork in place, they relocate to a resort in Puerto Rico while Nina's United States passport is being arranged.

Steven forms an instant dislike for his neighbors, Benjamin, Salo, and Paola after a bar misunderstanding about Nina. The encounter hints at a dangerous dynamic behind their friendly exterior. The bar scene foreshadows the trouble that will soon touch the family.

Two days after the adoption, the family wakes to find Nina missing. They mount a frantic search of the resort while a police officer notes problems with their documents. The IRA's Old San Juan headquarters is deserted, deepening the mystery.

A police officer explains that the IRA is likely a scam that trades or abducts children for profit. He cautions that the missing documents indicate trouble with the adoption. The empty Old San Juan headquarters underscores the danger.

That night, Benjamin and his aides reveal themselves as child traffickers working for Reigert. They abduct Shannon, Steven, and Nina and force the couple to hand over their entire savings. The family is held captive as the traffickers press for more money.

The next day, Steven is taken to the bank at gunpoint to withdraw the money. He realizes Benjamin's mansion is in Maunabo and, with money supplied by Salo, plans a route to reclaim Nina and confront the traffickers.

Shannon breaks free from captivity, takes Nina, and distracts Paola long enough for Steven to seize a gun and a vehicle. They escape with Nina, initiating a tense pursuit to safety.

Benjamin and Salo pursue the fleeing trio. A truck collides with Salo's car, killing him and complicating the pursuit. The family presses on toward safety while the danger remains.

Benjamin crashes his car and is presumed dead, while the family narrowly avoids a dangerous fall from a steep cliff. They are briefly escorted toward Reigert's villa by a local officer, only for Benjamin to reveal himself and overpower the escort.

Benjamin survives the crash, kills the officer, and takes Steven, Shannon, and Nina to Reigert's villa. Tension rises as money matters lead to volatile confrontations within the estate.

A dispute over the shares of the money leads Benjamin to shoot Reigert dead, escalating danger for the captives. The family grows more desperate as they try to keep Nina safe.

Steven recovers and tracks Benjamin to a decrepit building where they engage in a final confrontation. Steven arrives in time to prevent Benjamin from murdering Shannon and ends up killing him himself.

Nina arrives, traumatized by the events, and is gently persuaded to put down the gun and stay with her parents. The family reaffirms their bond and chooses to stay together rather than break apart.

The film ends with text stating that 1.2 million children are trafficked each year, highlighting how victims often go unseen and unaddressed. The message lingers as a stark reminder of the real world stakes depicted.
