Razorback

A massive razorback boar crashes into Jake Cullen's outback house and abducts his grandson, intending to devour the child. Jake fights to save him, but the boy is killed. The community quickly turns on Jake, accusing him of murder, though he is eventually acquitted for lack of evidence.

Two years later, American wildlife reporter Beth Winters documents an illegal pet food operation in the outback. She films Benny Baker and his brother Dicko disguising pet food as legitimate products. A car chase ensues as the criminals try to flee, and Beth confronts danger at the edge of the road.

Beth's husband Carl travels to Australia to find his wife and encounters Jake, who once interviewed Beth. Jake points Carl toward the local cannery, hinting at dangerous things behind the scenes of the misused wildlife footage he once shared. The two men share a wary connection born of shared tragedy.

Disguised as a Canadian visitor, Carl joins Benny and Dicko on a planned kangaroo hunt. When he spoils their plan, they abandon him to fend for himself. He is chased by a herd of aggressive wild pigs that pushes him toward a windmill, the danger escalating quickly.

Dehydrated and delirious, Carl reaches the home of Sarah Cameron, a local researcher studying pigs. Sarah notes that something in the wild has stressed the pig population into aggressive behavior and even cannibalism, hinting at a deeper problem behind the violence he has witnessed.

Jake heads to the pumping station to track the giant boar and shoots it with a tracking dart. During the search, he discovers Beth's wedding ring in the boar's droppings and returns it to Carl, confirming Beth's fate beside the dangerous animal.

Hearing a radio report suggesting Jake knows what happened to Beth, Benny and Dicko ambush him at his camp. They break his legs with bolt-cutters and leave him to be killed by the very razorback they fear.

Sarah and Carl find Jake's remains in the dirt, along with marks from Dicko's cleaver, confirming Benny and Dicko were responsible for both Beth's and Jake's deaths. The revelation tightens the circle of revenge and accountability.

Carl tracks Benny to the brothers' lair and forces a confrontation, dangling Benny over a mine shaft before dropping him to his death. The act of revenge signals a shifting balance of power and a path toward ending the terror.

The razorback mauls Dicko at the cannery, then pursues Carl into the factory. Sarah appears, apparently killed by the boar, as the creature continues its rampage. The threat remains in sight and in motion.

The razorback damages the cannery's power plant and drives the production line into motion. Carl lures the boar onto a conveyor belt and into a meat grinder, killing the monster. After shutting down the machinery, Carl rescues a stunned Sarah and they share a quiet, hopeful embrace.
