Rathnam

Three men orchestrate a deadly bus accident, killing all passengers and looting their money and jewellery. They also attack a police van and push it off a cliff. A woman escapes, boards another bus, and later works in a village; the young Rathnam kills a pimp who targets them, and the woman takes the boy under her protection.

The trio's robberies unfold while Loganayagi tries to stop them. Rathnam's father, a police officer, investigates and vows to bring them to justice. To escape punishment, the criminals kill Rathnam's father, and Loganayagi survives the ordeal.

Loganayagi gives birth to Rathnam; later she is blamed as a prostitute by a pimp and commits suicide. Rathnam had previously killed that pimp when he confronted Loganayagi during an earlier incident with Panneer Selvam.

In the present, Rathnam serves MLA Panneer Selvam in Vellore as a trusted henchman. After learning a ward councillor attempted to sexually assault a girl, Rathnam beats the councillor's men and hacks the man to death with a chainsaw. He begins protecting Malliga, who resembles his late mother Loganayagi, with Panneer Selvam's help.

Beema Rayudu and his brothers Subba Rayudu and Raghava Rayudu try to force Malliga's family to sell their land. Malliga's family refuses, triggering the attack. Rathnam steps in to protect Malliga and reveals the resemblance to Loganayagi.

On Rathnam's advice, Malliga sells the land to raise funds for a medical college. Rathnam's protection remains a constant as the brothers continue to threaten Malliga. Rathnam then kills Subba Rayudu and warns Beema Rayudu and Raghava Rayudu that he will finish them.

When confronted by Panneer Selvam, Rathnam reveals that he has met his real family and learns about his mother's past. He explains that Beema Rayudu, Subba Rayudu and Raghava Rayudu are Loganayagi's brothers, named Dharmalingam, Punniyakodi, and Keshavan, and recounts what happened.

Beema Rayudu learns of Rathnam's connection to Malliga and launches an assault on Rathnam's family, resulting in the deaths of some relatives. Rathnam pursues the attackers and intensifies his protection over Malliga.

Rathnam tracks Beema Rayudu and brutally kills Raghava Rayudu as part of his vendetta and protection of Malliga. The act demonstrates his willingness to go to extremes to safeguard Malliga and extinguish the threat.

Rathnam continues his pursuit and beheads Beema Rayudu in a decisive act. He then surrenders to the police, ending his vigilante chapter and facing the consequences of his actions.

Before leaving for prison, Rathnam asks Malliga to marry someone and to name her future child after him. Malliga breaks down in tears and hugs Rathnam, accepting the farewell and the memory of their bond.
