Inspector Jatil Yadav attends his colleague Narendra Singh's wedding as his mother pushes for an arranged match. The SSP assigns him to investigate the high-profile murder of Raghuveer Singh, a wealthy aristocrat. Jatil is introduced to Raghuveer's family and senses a web of secrets and silence surrounding the case.

Vikram is the first to discover Raghuveer's body, after returning from dropping his fiancée at a temple. He provides a timeline: 9:30 PM drop-off, 11:15 PM return, 12:30 AM temple visit. Jatil notes a back stairs connection to a water tank that could have been used to move or hide something during the crime.

As the investigation unfolds, Jatil questions Radha and feels she is being scapegoated by Raghuveer's family. He recalls saving Radha five years earlier when she attempted suicide, strengthening his sense that she may be innocent. Radha remains cautious, hinting at withheld truths.

Jatil learns Raghuveer's first wife was killed during a robbery on the way back from Gwalior to Kanpur. He also discovers Raghuveer's son Karan had been involved with drugs, indicating deeper family trouble. These revelations hint at a complex web behind Raghuveer's murder.

Forensics reveal erotic magazines in Raghuveer's cupboard and adjacent photos with a plastic bead under the bed. Munna Raja becomes involved as the investigation deepens. An elderly former maid’s lineage and a past driver’s death surface as potential links, tying into Raghuveer's family history. Jatil presses harder for the truth despite mounting opposition.

Jatil and Radha are pursued by goons and jump onto a train to escape. One of the attackers also boards the train, but the duo manages to overpower the threat and continue their escape. They eventually reach safety on the moving train.

Narendra investigates Chunni's death further and finds a clue pointing to a man with burnt skin, reflected in the victim's nails. Forensics connect a tannery run by Munna Raja to the case, widening the circle of suspects. He informs Jatil and tightens the chase.

In the climactic sequence, it’s revealed a butcher, acting for Munna Raja, killed Raghuveer's first wife and her driver and burned their bodies at the tannery. Vasudha reveals Raghuveer's sexual abuse of her, and in a fit of rage she shoots Raghuveer. Pramila’s machinations around property become exposed as well.

After the truth is laid bare, Pramila kills herself to save face and end the cover-up. Vasudha confirms her revelation to Jatil, cementing the unraveling of the family’s lies. The family you once knew dissolves under the weight of revelations.

With the truth exposed, Jatil returns to his life but quietly invites Radha to build a future together. He catches up with her on a train platform and asks her to spend her life with him, a request she shyly accepts. The couple finds a path forward amid the scars of the past.
