Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings

In Ferren Woods in 1958, six thugs corner the deformed orphan Tommy, the offspring of Pumpkinhead, as Ms. Osie feeds him. They chase him with knives and bats to an old iron mine, where they bludgeon and slash him before dropping him into the shaft. The brutal death confirms the town's fear of a monster and seeds the Pumpkinhead legend.

Tommy's murder becomes the origin story of Pumpkinhead in the town's memory. Years later, residents whisper about the monster that hunts vengeance. The legend lingers as a warning to those who would harm the innocent.

In 1993, Sean Braddock comes back to Ferren Woods as the local sheriff, reuniting with his wife and daughter Jenny. He grew up here and left a different life, now returning to serve the community. The town's wounds reopen with his arrival.

At school, Jenny meets a group of unruly teens including Daniel Dixon, whose father is the town judge and who helped orchestrate Tommy's death. The kids feel restless and seek out excitement on the night patrols. The seeds of a fateful night are sown.

The group sneaks out after dark and steals Sheriff Braddock's car, broadening their sense of invincibility. They drive around Ferren Woods, looking for trouble as the night deepens. Tension builds as their actions set in motion dangerous consequences.

Danny inadvertently hits Ms. Osie with the car, then the teens sneak into her cabin and discover a spellbook and vials of blood. Osie is revealed to be planning to resurrect Tommy, hinting at the dark ritual to come. The discovery sets the resurrection plan in motion.

Ms. Osie confronts the teens and orders them out, but Danny knocks her down and escapes with a vial of blood. The other teens scatter, leaving Osie wounded and enraged. The spark for an unholy resurrection is now set to ignite.

Danny and his friends try to resurrect Tommy using the spell; their ritual succeeds, but Osie's cabin catches fire in the process. Ms. Osie is badly burned and ends up hospitalized. The town's dark experiment has unintended consequences.

The spellwork revives Tommy, who returns not as a boy but as Pumpkinhead, a vengeance-fueled creature. He begins a killing spree, targeting those connected to his death and to the people who wronged him. The monster now haunts Ferren Woods.

Judge Dixon tries to rally his posse to kill Pumpkinhead, but Tommy acts first, enacting revenge for past cruelty. The killings accelerate as Pumpkinhead hunts Danny and his friends. The town begins to fear the escalating wrath.

Sean investigates the string of deaths and links them to Pumpkinhead, confronting the reality of a supernatural killer. Ms. Osie dies but offers crucial clues before passing. With Jenny's innocence acknowledged, Sean braces for the next move.

Pumpkinhead corners Jenny at the iron mine but spares her to her father due to Sean's past kindness and Jenny's innocence. Later, the posse arrives and shoots Pumpkinhead back into the mine, where he had died 35 years earlier. Sean finds the old toy fire truck he gave Tommy, a reminder of the rescue that started it all.
