He kills the man dragging his apparent body, triggering a chaotic brawl as he and Sani escape with the 'corpse', escaping through a window as gunfire erupts outside. During the aftermath, Khai spots Reza watching from the shadows.

The narrative shifts to Sani's family estate in Terengganu, where the peaceful setting underscores the personal stakes. It is revealed that Khai is dating Anis, a development that adds emotional weight to Khai's ongoing investigations. The scene contrasts with the earlier violence and hints at future personal conflicts.

On Penang Island, Reza is seen holding a cop hostage and issuing a deadly ultimatum to set off bombs at two nearby restaurants. A violent confrontation ensues and Reza detonates both bombs during the struggle, ultimately being killed in the firefight.

Inspector Khai, Sani, and the rest of the UKAP team are summoned for a briefing about the bombings. It is revealed that Reza was last seen trying to burn down his own house, and Semtex may have been smuggled in by terrorist leader Gaya. The team is assigned to track Gaya's location and obtain burner phones used to contact Reza.

During the operation, Khai successfully obtains the burner phones. Their capture triggers a shootout as rival forces try to recover them. The phones’ seizure advances the investigation and narrows down Reza's network.

While walking in a night market with Anis and Sani, Khai spots Reza in the crowd and attempts to capture him. A tense pursuit follows, but Khai ultimately spares Reza, delaying decisive action. The moment deepens Khai's inner conflict about his past partner.

In a private conversation, Khai explains that Reza was once his partner in the police force. He reveals that Reza's hatred intensified after Reza's wife Farah was killed during Ops Sabrum due to a failed detonation by Khai. The revelation establishes the personal stakes driving Reza's vendetta.

Khai steals the logs of the stolen burner phones from Inspector Dell. He then arranges a meet with Reza at a stadium, where Reza is captured by UKAP and subsequently transported toward Kamuting Prison. The staging intensifies the cat-and-mouse game between the investigators and Reza.

The UKAP team is assigned another mission to locate a bomb inside a condominium linked to Reza. No bomb is found, but investigators uncover images of Reza's targets, hinting at a wider plan. The discovery broadens the scope of the investigation.

While transporting Reza to Kamuting, he triggers a shootout that enables his escape. Reza then abducts Anis, forcing Khai to redirect toward Bukit Bintang. The chase heightens the stakes as Reza tightens his control over Khai and his allies.

In Bukit Bintang, Reza communicates with Anis via a walkie-talkie and lays out a deadly choice: detonate a bomb on Anis or at the Bukit Bintang MRT. Khai uses Morse code to signal the UKAP to cut the other bomb in the last 10 seconds. Anis resists and Sani tries to intervene, but Khai shoots Sani to prevent interference, then directs Anis to trigger the timed cut in the final moments.

The synchronized cut prevents both bombs from detonating, leaving Reza enraged. A furious firefight ensues as Reza reveals himself and is ultimately killed by Khai and Sani after Inspector Julie fails to neutralize him. The plan succeeds, but at a heavy cost.

The closing sequences show Khai standing by Reza's grave, reflecting on the cost of the mission. Sani and Khadijah marry in a joyous ceremony, while Khai proposes to Anis and she accepts, concluding the personal arcs of the story. The film ends with a sense of both loss and new beginnings.
