An elderly couple lies in bed as the wife wakes and is murdered by a masked intruder who removes the mask to reveal she is an exact duplicate. The intruder then re-dresses and returns to bed, joining the husband as if nothing happened.

Devin, Noel, Leena, and Josh run a software startup. Devin and Noel pitch to investors but face an impossible deadline, and the investors favor a rival company. They realize programmer Seth betrayed them, raising the stakes.

Back at home, a scuffle reveals a hidden wall and a door to a strange room. In the attic they find a mirror; Josh steps through and returns seconds later with a tale of a different world and 15 minutes passed. Noel realizes the mirror is a portal connecting alternate universes.

They decide to use the portal to slow time so they can finish the app. They complete it, hand it to investors, and taunt Seth as they drive past him.

Over drinks, they discuss using the portal for personal gain. Leena uncovers the missing woman’s diaries, learning her name was Marissa and that she lost her husband and used the mirror to reconnect with him in another universe. This backstory hints at the costs of exploiting the portals.

Devin learns of his father’s death by suicide following a corruption scandal. Noel begins using the mirror to seduce women, while Leena copies famous artworks to sell as her own, and Noel becomes a 'visionary' who resells ideas. The group grows wealthy by exploiting cross-world knowledge.

At an event, they encounter Seth; Seth insults Devin and Noel drags Devin into another universe to raid Seth’s home, destroying Seth’s TV and laptop. Devin refuses to participate in violence, and the trio retreats.

Josh takes Devin to another universe where Josh courts Carmen and beds her; in the real world, Carmen’s boyfriend returns and shoots Josh. Devin carries the dying Josh back to their world, where he bleeds out in the attic.

Facing the death of Josh, the trio kidnap an alternate Josh from another universe to replace the dead one and import an alternate Devin to a lakeside cabin to hide him. The rescued alt Josh wakes amid moving boxes and is told he has a dream job and wealth, as Noel rearranges events to fit their goals.

Devin searches for a world where his father is alive, while Leena grows suspicious of Noel’s lies about Devin’s whereabouts. Noel unveils more stolen tech and pushes Leena to join him, arguing that control over multiple worlds is the path to power.

Leena discovers that Noel has killed the real Devin and continues to manipulate alternate versions. A second alt Devin arrives to save Leena, and Devin shoots Noel, who leaps into the mirror.

Leena and Devin shoot Noel and smash the mirror, planning to vanish from the multiverse. A final flash of light at a gas-station restroom hints another portal may exist, and their memories seem unsure as Leena questions whether their shared song will align.
