Paradise

Willard, a 10-year-old boy, is sent to a quiet town to attend a private school on scholarship. He is paralyzed by fear and believes his father is away at sea. His mother asks him to adjust to a new place and a new routine.

While exploring the town, Willard meets Billie, a 9-year-old tomboy who doesn't know her father. They quickly form a bond as two lonely children. This marks the start of a unique friendship that challenges their isolation.
