Bhola is enraged by Kunwar Pratap Singh's ongoing search for a bride, despite his wife being alive. He storms out of the house and decides to live with his Aunt. This confrontation marks a turning point as Bhola seeks independence from his uncle's influence.

After moving in with his Aunt, Bhola meets his beautiful neighbor Bindu and falls in love at first sight. Bindu initially resists his advances and is annoyed by his attention. Her reaction sets the stage for the ensuing love and deception plot.

Vidyapati, known as Guru, Bhola's friend and mentor, comes to Bhola's aid and begins observing Bindu. He learns about her closeness to Masterji and the feelings behind it. This discovery will influence Bhola's next moves.

Bindu tolerates advances from Master Pillai, her South Indian music teacher. Guru realizes that Bindu's closeness with Masterji stems from her love of music. He then tries to teach Bhola to sing, but fails, setting up a drastic plan.

Guru devises a scheme: Bhola will mimic lyrics from dubbed songs while Guru sings in the background. The ruse is designed to showcase Bhola's voice and win Bindu's affection. Their fake performance succeeds, and Bindu begins to fall for Bhola, much to Masterji's chagrin.

With Bhola's imitation working, Bindu's feelings deepen, drawing her closer to Bhola. Masterji grows increasingly frustrated, sensing he is losing her. The emotional stakes rise as the love triangle tightens.

During Bindu's birthday party, a friend becomes suspicious of Bhola's voice. She leads Bindu to discover Bhola's fake act and the deception behind the performance. Bindu's anger erupts as she confronts Bhola about the fraud.

In a fit of anger following the discovery, Bindu agrees to the marriage proposal of Kunwar Pratap Singh, which she had earlier rejected when she learned he is Bhola's maternal uncle. The decision shocks Bhola and pushes the plot toward wedding obstacles.

Guru and his gang visit Pratap Singh to plead that he reject the proposal for Bhola's love. Pratap Singh agrees, and the plan backfires by enraging Bindu further. She resolves to marry Masterji instead, hoping to teach Bhola a lesson.

Guru hatches a final plan to fake Bhola's suicide to force Bindu's true love. They stage a death scene and mourn Bhola's 'death', drawing a crowd including Bindu. Guru tells Bindu that only her unrequited love could bring the dead back, prompting her to try harder.

After more pretending, Bhola finally cries and wakes up, embracing Bindu. The act convinces everyone, including Masterji, of the power of true love.

Bhola's maternal uncle and aunt reconcile and bless the newlywed couple. The family finds harmony as Bhola and Bindu seal their union.

In the last scene, Masterji plays the Shehnai with tears in his eyes, acknowledging the couple's triumph. The moment closes the story with emotion and a sense of forgiveness and resolution.
