In the climax of Officer Black Belt, Jung-Do and his friends confront Kang Ki-Jung in a tense and brutal fight. Despite being injured—Jung-Do gets stabbed in the shoulder—he manages to turn the tide with the help of his team, who use a drone to distract Ki-Jung, giving Jung-Do the chance to regain control. After a fierce struggle, Jung-Do finally subdued Ki-Jung, handcuffing him and reading him his rights, symbolizing his transition from an inexperienced rookie to a real officer. Throughout the story, Jung-Do’s transformation from a carefree, non-violent man into someone committed to protecting children from harm is emphasized. His motivation is fueled by the emotional impact of a letter from Min-Ju, a young girl traumatized by Ki-Jung’s actions, which awakens in him a deeper sense of purpose.

In the end, Jung-Do’s efforts are recognized at a high level, as he and his colleagues receive an award from the President. More importantly, the story wraps up on a hopeful note: Min-Ju is able to step outside again, symbolizing her healing process, and she visits Jung-Do to thank him. Jung-Do, who once never imagined himself as a crime fighter, now finds joy and fulfillment in his role as a martial arts officer dedicated to justice. The film closes with Jung-Do and his team continuing their work, highlighting that even ordinary people can become heroes when driven by compassion and a desire to make a difference.
