After serving time behind bars, Debbie Ocean is finally released from prison. She is determined to reconnect with her previous accomplice, Lou, and discuss her ambitious plans for an elaborate heist that took root during her incarceration.

Debbie reaches out to her skilled former heist partners to assemble a specialized team for her grand scheme. Among her recruits are fashion designer Rose, jewelry maker Amita, master hacker Nine Ball, street hustler Constance, and underground seller Tammy, each bringing their unique talents to the table.

Debbie reveals her target: the exquisite $150 million Cartier necklace known as the Toussaint, which will be stolen during the glamorous Met Gala in five weeks. The heist requires careful planning and the double manipulation of attendees to succeed.

To facilitate the heist, Debbie decides to use Daphne Kluger, a naïve actress co-hosting the Met Gala, as an unwitting accomplice. By orchestrating a chance meeting where Daphne mistakenly hires Rose as her stylist, Debbie cleverly ensures the star is wearing the necklace to the event.

Rose and Amita meet with Cartier executives under the pretense of promoting Daphne, convincing them to lend her the Toussaint for the gala. During their meeting, they discreetly scan the necklace's design to replicate it with a zircon substitute for the heist.

Debbie confronts her ex-boyfriend Claude Becker, an art dealer who betrayed her in the past. Despite concerns from Lou about Debbie's motives for revenge, they proceed with the plan as Debbie assures her it will go off without a hitch.

Rose discovers a crucial detail: the Toussaint can only be unfastened with a special magnet used by Cartier's security team. Nine Ball brings her sister Veronica into the fold to construct a similar magnet in time for the heist.

As the Met Gala commences, the heist is set in motion. Daphne unwittingly consumes soup laced by Lou, which makes her ill and gives Constance the perfect opportunity to steal the necklace while everyone is distracted.

As alarm bells ring over the missing Toussaint, the museum evacuates for a thorough search. To ease suspicion, Tammy 'finds' the fake necklace, which helps to wrap up the search prematurely while the team executes their plan.

Once the authentic necklace is secured, Amita breaks it down and reconfigures it into various pieces of jewelry. She then hands them to Constance, who will distribute the pieces to their team to cover their tracks.

In a twist of fate, John Frazier, a detective with ties to the Ocean family, launches an investigation when the counterfeit necklace is returned to Cartier. Though suspicious of Debbie, he struggles to find solid evidence against her.

In a surprising reveal, Daphne admits she was in on the scheme, having been tipped off by Rose's performance. This turn of events deepens the layers of deception among the team and further complicates the aftermath of their heist.

During her romantic encounter with Becker, Daphne discovers the hidden diamonds from the heist. She promptly sends the incriminating evidence to Frazier, securing a warranted arrest for her former co-conspirator.

With the heist accomplished and their fortunes lifted, the team reconvenes to celebrate their extraordinary hustle. Each member reflects on their newfound wealth and considers their future endeavors.

As the team begins to disperse, they all embark on various new ventures fueled by their wealth. Debbie honors her brother Danny, raising a toast in his memory while everyone sets out to pursue personal dreams.
