Donald and Goofy rent a quirky sailboat that works only after a nickel is inserted, making the mast and sail pop up then collapse. When they run out of nickels they’re stranded; Goofy waves his shirt at a cruise ship, mistaking it for a greeting. A flying fish and a gull cause chaos, the gull perches on their heads while sharks circle and Donald becomes bait. Finally his bill drops into the coin slot, restoring power and sending them home.
