Nadodi Mannan

A member of the Ratnapuri royal family chosen by the imperial council to be the new king. He becomes the target of Vijayavarman's poisoning plot and is replaced by Veerangan. He is later kidnapped and eventually freed, continuing his role in the realm’s reformist efforts.

Marthandan's look-alike who steps in as king to avert a crisis and pursues reforms for the people. He falls in love with Ratna, struggles with the deception of his own identity, and ultimately reveals the truth to Manohari. He fights to free the kidnapped and restore justice to Ratnapuri.
