Mutant Girls Squad

Rin, a shy high school student, is bullied at school and experiences a sharp pain in her hand. This strange sensation hints that something powerful lies within her. Soon she learns she is a descendant of the ancient Hiruko clan, a revelation that sets the course for her powers.

Anti-Hiruko soldiers raid Rin's home in a brutal assault. Rin's parents are killed, and she barely escapes with her life. The loss triggers the first, brutal awakening of her abilities.

Grief and confusion drive Rin to unleash her powers, unintentionally destroying an entire shopping district. The rampage marks her first major display of strength and brands her as a dangerous figure in the city. The event sets her on a collision course with anti-Hiruko forces.

Rin encounters Rei, another Hiruko mutant, and is drawn into a rebel circle led by the transvestite samurai Kisaragi. Rei becomes her ally within this circle and guider for her early training. Rin agrees to join their cause, signaling the start of her transition from victim to fighter.

Under Kisaragi's instruction, Rin begins training to control her powers, wearing an iron mask to focus and suppress her abilities. The training tests her discipline and marks her first step toward mastery.

Yoshie explains Rei's painful past: she was a circus freak show attraction, and a human boy gave her a gold cross necklace. When the boy was killed by townsfolk, Rei's hatred for humans grew. Rin later finds the necklace after a training session.

Rin gains control over her abilities faster than expected. Kisaragi orders Rin and Yoshie to infiltrate an anti-Hiruko conference and attack General Koshimizu. The mission is meant to weaken human resistance and strengthen Hiruko's position.

Rin and Yoshie infiltrate the conference and successfully eliminate General Koshimizu. However, they balk at killing the surviving innocents, revealing Rin's growing humanity. Rei, acting under Kisaragi's orders, kills the remaining survivors.

Realizing she cannot fully renounce humanity, Rin persuades Yoshie to join her cause to protect innocent humans rather than subjugate them. The two commit to steering their group toward defense of civilians.

Meanwhile, other Hiruko schoolgirls are brainwashed to carry out suicide bombings at various locations against humans. The revelation highlights the ruthlessness of Hiruko strategy and raises the stakes for Rin and her allies.

Kisaragi kidnaps and drains the blood of the anti-Hiruko prime minister, transforming himself into a grotesque, super-powered being. The act demonstrates the weaponization of Hiruko strength and raises the threat to Rin's coalition.

Rin faces Rei in a climactic confrontation and returns the gold cross necklace, triggering memories of the human boy who loved her. Rin, Rei, and Yoshie join forces to defeat Kisaragi and rescue the prime minister.
