Shravan Singh, a struggling boxer who works for a local politician and head of the State Boxing Federation, Vineet Kumar Singh brings to life a fighter chasing a shot at national glory while navigating the powerful grip of his patron, Jimmy Shergill as Bhagwan Das Mishra. He falls for Sunaina Mishra, Zoya Hussain, a mute whose quiet world contrasts with the chaos of ambition around them. Her father lays down a frank demand: he must secure a real job before he considers marriage.
To prove his worth, Singh tries to enter the state-level tournament but is blocked by Mishra’s influence. Undeterred, he heads to Varanasi where a patient trainer, Sanjay Kumar, Ravi Kishan, helps him sharpen his craft and rebuild his confidence. The hard work pays off as Singh defeats Mishra’s boxer and earns a medal, a victory that also earns him a job with the Indian Railways and a fresh start.
Singh and Sunaina marry, honoring a promise her father made. Yet Mishra despises the union and lashes out, even threatening his brother, Rajesh Tailang, in the process. Singh continues to balance a demanding railway post, intensive training, and the intimate lessons of sign language for Sunaina. His office supervisor adds pressure, piling on duties that push him to the edge.
The conflict intensifies when Mishra gets Sunaina’s father fired and forces the family from their home. They retreat to their ancestral village, only to come under the threat of Mishra’s goons who lock them in a village house. The tension escalates as Mishra also breaks his brother’s leg, underscoring the brutal reach of power.
Back at Sanjay Kumar’s home, a mob attacks Singh and Kumar after they’re falsely accused of eating beef. Kumar sustains serious injuries and slips into an ICU, while Singh survives the assault. With Sunaina and her mother in danger, the couple’s prospects grow grimmer as Mishra arranges a forced engagement for Sunaina with a disabled businessman, driven by money.
Yet Singh refuses to give up. He advances to the national final, fighting hard and earning a chance to prove himself on the biggest stage. A critical call from Sunaina and her mother reveals their location, and Singh races to their aid, determined to rescue Sunaina and her family. Mishra tries to shut down his momentum by disqualifying him on health grounds, but Singh is reinstated after an apology is offered; the price of victory, however, is steep—Mishra stipulates that he must lose the final and retire from boxing. In a tense, emotionally charged finale, Singh does lose the final, leaving him to confront the cost of ambition, loyalty, and love.
