In the sun-drenched streets of Palm Beach, Florida, the former wrestler Sean Armstrong is battling the shadows of his past as he now leads a reclusive life. His friend and former manager, Burt Wilson, knows pain all too well as he struggles with a bum leg, a constant reminder of the sacrifices he made to save Sean’s life. Despite grappling with his own financial difficulties, Burt persuades Sean to take a bodyguard position for Alex Mason Sr., the elusive head of Mason Systems. This tech firm is on the brink of transforming global security with its innovative Peacefinder Project. Their primary task is to protect the Mason children, Alex Jr. and Kate, whose antics have consistently bewildered their often preoccupied father.
These siblings are fueled by a profound craving for attention, unleashing a torrent of mischief upon their environment. Their creativity manifests in a series of elaborate pranks and booby traps, which they deploy against their long-suffering nannies. Their father’s lenient approach only encourages their reckless behavior until Sean finally steps in. Adopting a firm yet caring stance, he manages to quell their chaos and reveals the underlying family issues to Alex Sr..
Meanwhile, danger looms as Tommy Thanatos, a nefarious criminal with an affinity for dramatic spectacles, sets his sights on the prized Mason chip, integral to the Peacefinder Project. Sean and Burt share a tangled history with Thanatos, having previously been coerced into throwing a match for him — a decision that nearly cost them their lives. The fallout from that encounter left Thanatos severely injured, bearing a steel skullplate that serves as a chilling testament to his arrogance.
As Thanatos enacts his wicked scheme, he kidnaps Alex Sr., manipulating the corrupt Frank Olsen, security chief of Mason Systems, who meets an unfortunate end on the way to the criminals’ hideout. With a menacing ultimatum issued — surrender the Mason chip or face dire consequences — Alex Sr. stands firm, prompting Thanatos to escalate his threats by kidnapping both Alex and Kate to enforce compliance. Sean’s attempts to thwart these villains prove fruitless, and with Burt also captured, Thanatos tastes victory in his quest for revenge.
Determined to rescue his friends, Sean embarks on a perilous mission, rallying support from his allies. As Thanatos gears up to unleash his wrath, Alex Sr. and the kidnapped children hatch a daring plan, using an electromagnet to launch Thanatos into the night sky, leaving behind only his skullplate as a morbid trophy.
As the chaos dissipates, Sean considers stepping away from his role with the Masons. However, Alex and Kate have other intentions. With mischief on their minds, they plot to entice Sean back into their lives sooner than expected — thus, the stage is set for yet another round of pranks targeting the unsuspecting Sean.
