The Fook Sung gang goes out to drink with Leung, the waiter from their regular restaurant. The group offends members of the Lo Fung gang by talking to their girlfriends, and a street brawl erupts. Leung-ping sustains a hand injury during the fight.

A meeting to resolve the matter is held and Long Ching attends to calm the situation. He manages to settle the feud without further violence, and the gang agrees to move on. Leung-ping is welcomed into the Fook Sung gang as a new member.

During the resolution, Leung-ping learns that Ching's wife is Chu May-yee, his childhood crush, and that she is pregnant. The revelation deepens the personal stakes surrounding the gang's leadership and loyalties. This connection foreshadows potential conflicts ahead.

Bisexual gang leader Lui Lone discovers that Peter has been spreading rumors that he has herpes. In retaliation, Lui Lone targets the rival group, but they end up kidnapping Leung-ping instead of Peter. The kidnapping shifts the power balance and intensifies tensions.

Lui Lone forces Leung-ping to perform oral sex to prove he is free of disease. Leung-ping then asks Ching for help, but Ching's attempt to resolve the issue peacefully only provokes Leung-ping further, straining their relationship.

Peter leads the gang to desecrate Lui Lone's father's grave, enraging Ching, who believes in peace. Ching responds by offering money to improve the grave site in an effort to cool tensions.

Ching overhears the desecration and angrily breaks Lui Lone's father's urn, triggering a furious fight between the two gangs. The moment marks a collapse of any fragile peace that remained.

During the ensuing clash, Lui Lone shoots Ching, and the other gang members kill Ching. The violence marks a brutal turning point for both gangs and shatters any hope for reconciliation.

Ching's funeral is sparsely attended, and Lui Lone attends in disguise. He is recognized, nearly sparking a fight, until May-yee declares she has had enough of the fighting and tries to quell tensions.

Lui Lone offers to take care of May-yee and her child, but she refuses his help. The personal choice underscores the ongoing rift between the factions and the unresolved future for May-yee and her child.

The Fook Sung gang attacks Lui Lone while he is filming a movie scene on a public street. Leung-ping chases Lui Lone into an alley, where they are ambushed by robbers who steal their money and phones and tie them together.

Lui Lone is freed and attempts to coerce Leung-ping again, but Leung-ping spits on him. A robber, angry that Lui Lone gave him the wrong code for his stolen phone, stabs Lui Lone in the back. Lui Lone dies before Leung-ping can call the police.
