Throughout history, the Minions served various infamous villains, including a T. Rex, Dracula, and Napoleon. However, each of their masters met an unfortunate demise as a result of the Minions' antics.

After realizing their negative impact on their masters' fates, the Minions retreat from society. They choose to begin a new life in the icy, desolate lands of Antarctica, seeking solace away from their past.

As years pass without a master, the Minions fall into a state of deep melancholy by 1968. Their fearless leader, Kevin, devises a daring plan to find a new villain to serve and revitalize their lives.

Joined by rebellious Stuart and eager Bob, Kevin sets out on his quest for a new master. Their friendship is solidified as they embark on an adventure to change their fortunes.

The Minions arrive in New York City, where they discover an exciting announcement for Villain-Con, a gathering of super-villains in Orlando, Florida. Eager for adventure, they decide to attend.

Hitching a ride with a family, the Minions are unaware that they are traveling with criminals. Their unintentional partnership introduces them to the world of villains as they continue their journey.

Upon arriving at Villain-Con, the Minions eagerly sign up to work for Scarlet Overkill, the first female super-villain. Excitement fills the air as they prepare to embark on their new mission.

Scarlet assigns the Minions the daring task of stealing St. Edward's Crown from Queen Elizabeth II. Armed with gadgets from Herb, her husband, they prepare for an adventurous mission.

The Minions successfully invade the Tower of London, but the crown has been moved to the palace. In a twist of fate, they grab the crown from the Queen's carriage, causing chaos and making their escape.

In a series of unexpected events, Bob accidentally pulls Excalibur from the Sword in the Stone, becoming the new King of the United Kingdom. This unexpected coronation leads to both triumph and trouble.

Scarlet betrays the Minions, viewing them as traitors after King Bob abdicates in her favor. This betrayal leads to their imprisonment in the royal dungeon, putting their lives at risk.

Using their unique shapes and talents, the Minions escape the dungeon just as Herb attends Scarlet's coronation. They make their way through the sewer, hoping for a chance at redemption with Scarlet.

During Scarlet's coronation, the Minions create chaos by unscrewing a chandelier, causing it to crash down just as she’s about to be crowned. This incident disrupts the ceremony and escalates the tension.

Ultimately, after a showdown with Scarlet, Bob gifts her his tiny crown, symbolizing their unlikely camaraderie. The film closes with the Minions setting their sights on Gru, hinting at new adventures ahead.
