The Verma family lives a peaceful life in a modest home. Arun is eight years old, his sister Komal is five, and their parents Aarti and Deepak nurture them with warmth. They are inspired by the chorus Zindagi Har Kadam Ek Nayi Jung Hai, a motto that teaches resilience through unity.

Famed lawyer Thakral prosecutes Deepak Verma and wins a verdict of guilt. The court sentences him to death and Deepak is hanged. The mother and children are left to cope with loss and injustice.

The shock drives Arun's mother into a mental institution as the family loses stability. At the same time, the Verma home and belongings are auctioned to settle debts. The siblings watch their world fall apart while grappling with unanswered questions.

Arun grows up carrying the seed of revenge and becomes a defense lawyer. He becomes a successful defence lawyer and tracks every case Thakral handles. His drive is fueled by the memory of his father's death and the desire to overturn the wrong.

Geeta Srivatsav seeks Arun's help to defend Dr. Asha Mathur. Arun initially refuses, until Geeta repeats the line about not having proof. Reluctantly, he agrees to look into the case.

Arun meets Asha in police custody and learns the key details of the night in question. He discovers that a look-alike bottle of poison had been substituted for the medicine. Dinesh Mathur confirms how such poison could cause a rapid death, supporting Arun's doubts.

Immediately after the verdict, Dr. Mathur rushes Arun to the hospital when it becomes clear the medicine contained actual poison. Arun survives the emergency, underscoring the stakes of the case. The experience deepens his resolve and trust in the Mathur family.

Vikram schemes to trap Komal for revenge, while Indu Gupta's murder is witnessed by Dr. Mathur's family. The tragedy tightens Arun's resolve to confront Thakral and protect his loved ones. The Mathur family supports Arun as he prepares for the confrontation.

With Thakral defeated and the family secure, Arun, Komal, and their mother regain happiness. They sing the familiar anthem Zindagi Har Kadam Ek Nayi Jung Hai as a symbol of renewed unity. The film closes on a note of triumph and togetherness.
