Aniket, unhappy in his fourteen-year marriage, secretly teams up with his dentist girlfriend Devika to dispose of Avani and frame it as a suicide. They plan to manipulate Avani into believing a suicide pact is the only way out, using fabricated financial trouble and the threat of losing their home. The goal is for Aniket to appear innocent while Avani's death is presented as suicide.

The two go over the steps at Devika's clinic to ensure the plan does not fall through. They decide specifics like who lies about bankruptcy and how to stage the scene as a suicide. The clinic setting helps them coordinate and rehearse the deception away from prying eyes.

A foreclosure notice appears on the door, heightening Avani's sense of desperation. Avani sleeps on the floor after taking antidepressants, unaware of the real danger. She expresses a wish to die that day, so the couple decides to write notes instead of forcing a quick death.

Lying to Avani about visiting his office, Aniket files an FIR for his supposedly missing gun. He learns that a crime-branch officer must accompany the investigation, but no officer is available at the moment. The procedural snag delays the plan and raises the stakes.

Under the pretense of a routine appointment, Aniket visits Devika's clinic and disguises himself as a delivery driver. He then returns to Avani's house, where she is sleeping after medication, and prepares to execute the plan. He shoots Avani and plants the gun, a bottle of antidepressants, and her suicide note as evidence.

Returning home, Aniket plans to feign surprise at Avani's apparent suicide, only to find that her corpse and the suicide note have vanished. He calls Devika to the scene to help explain the mysterious disappearance. The missing evidence unsettles him and deepens the mystery.

A mysterious caller phones Aniket, claiming to know what they did and asks them to meet at a location. The threat implies someone is aware of the murder scheme and the staged suicide. The tension rises as they scramble to locate the caller.

Dr. Anshuman, Avani's psychiatrist, arrives with Avani's corpse and her note, revealing he had an intimate relationship with her during psychiatric evaluations. Avani confesses she is pregnant with Anshuman's baby, escalating the danger for everyone involved. Anshuman visits Avani and administers a fatal overdose of antidepressants, while Aniket watches from hiding.

As they try to bury Avani's body, the trio nearly gets caught by police and campers. Driving away after a car accident, a police inspector confronts them about injuries sustained by a woman in the other car. In the ensuing struggle, Aniket strikes the woman with a steel bottle, killing her, and Devika shoots the inspector when he draws his gun.

With the dawn approaching, Devika, Anshuman, and Aniket drive back to Aniket's house and place the bodies on a couch, planning to return at night to bury them. The plan to avoid detection seems fragile as their crime grows more tangled. They prepare for a late-night continuation of their scheme.

A chandelier falls and crashes onto the conspirators, ending their attempt to cover up the murders. The house erupts into chaos as the police begin to investigate the scene. The final shot shows termites gnawing on a nylon rope, hinting at the lingering consequences of the plot.
