Years later, Krushna expresses her ongoing regret over their separation at a reunion, emphasizing her lingering feelings. Nissim, however, has moved on and is no longer in love with her.

Nissim notices Gowri arguing or fighting in the parking lot with a man and later approaches her to ask what happened. Their interaction reveals Gowri's carefree attitude, and they grow closer through their conversations. This marks the beginning of their developing bond.

Gowri persuades Nissim to take Prajakta out, believing that Prajakta also has feelings for him. Nissim struggles with his shy nature but follows Gowri's advice, leading to their first date. During the date, Prajakta reveals she is about to get married, which devastates Nissim.
