Amid these intertwining schemes, Amol and Shivani, who have rekindled their old flame, spend a night together. In the morning, Shivani wakes in pain, and Amol calls for an ambulance. During a tense moment between Neha and Ranjit, a fierce argument drives Ranjit to leave. Neha, overwhelmed, attempts suicide by drinking phenyl, but Rahul intervenes with the help of a neighbor doctor and saves her. He then calls Ranjit, who has travelled to Bangalore for urgent business, and asks him to let Rahul take care of Neha for a few days. A fragile bond forms between Rahul and Neha as he reveals that his father dreamed of building a house or a restaurant and had invested everything in that unfinished project. Rahul becomes determined to see that dream fulfilled, taking Neha along in a new chapter of his life.
